These days...

It's been a busy year with lots of construction photography at the Saint Louis Zoo and several trips out to Utah to shoot equipment for Heartland Technology Partners. The spring Zootography classes went well and we've gotten lots of good feedback from students. Clint Edmonson and I will be leading both the intro and advanced classes again in the fall. We're also continuing development of Zootography.com, our online magazine focusing on Zoo Photography.

I'm in the process of moving my time lapse videos to Vimeo. Check out the newest video of Kent Ullberg's beautiful African Elephant sculpture installation at the South Entrance of the Zoo.

My work is represented in two galleries in the St. Louis area: Brewington in the Central West End and Creative Art Gallery in South City (details on the Dealers page).

Look for updates to my online portfolio in the near future, including more commercial work.

My wife, Jan, and I live in Kirkwood, Missouri. Our son (also Ray) is attending school in Florida.
